Before you book (Terms & Conditions)

Mitchum’s Camp Site is primarily for couples and small well behaved groups. Like-minded people wanting to surf or cycle and enjoy the north Devon beaches.  We make every effort to run a relaxed and quiet site.  Unfortunately this means we have to have site ‘rules’:

Tent Size:

Small 2/3 person capacity.  No frame tents or gazebos or additional awnings.  We reserve the right to refuse the erection of large tents.

Camper Vans:

Small vans such as VW campers but without awnings.  We do not have electric hook up.

Sorry no caravans.

Trade Vans

Small vans (no long wheel based or high tops)

Pitch Size:

At peak times space is at a premium and tents will be pitched fairly close together.

Electric hook ups:

Sorry we do not have electric hook ups. Phone and laptop batteries may be charged at reception.

We take a maximum of 12 in a mixed group. We ask that groups make every effort to respect the quiet nature of the site.

This makes our sites unsuitable for Birthday parties, Hen or Stag nights. (See Behaviour Bond details).

Single sex bookings:

We take single sex bookings but limit the number of males to 4 only.

No forming of groups on site please.

No person under the age of 17. Younger teenagers may stay under adult supervision.

No pets of any sort.

This will automatically be required for groups of more than six people. A sum of £30 from each person will be requested in cash on arrival. This will be returned at the end of your stay assuming that there has been no cause for complaint.
